Dairypower welcomes their thriving dealer Hanson Silo Company to the UK and Ireland!
Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Hanson Silo Company, our American dealers based in Lake Lillian, Minnesota, to Ireland and the UK. We first started working with Hanson Silo Company back in 2020. For over 100 years and through four generations, the Hanson family has been involved with agriculture and has grown to symbolise quality, economy and dependability.
Their trip started off on Monday morning with a visit to a beef farm in Kildare that has our Smart Slurry Aeration System installed. Afterwards, they made their way to Cork where they went to the Jameson Whiskey Distillery. Nestled in the heart of Cork, this iconic distillery offers visitors a glimpse into the art of whiskey making.
On Tuesday morning, Hanson Silo started off by making their way to the Dairypower Headquarters in Cork. We introduced them to the team and gave them a tour of our new premises located in Templemichael. From there, they journeyed to Leamlara, Cork, to meet our very first Smart Slurry Aeration System customer in Ireland, who has been reaping the benefits since 1998!
The team travelled to Fishguard, Wales that evening where they explored our UK Dairypower Headquarters.
In Wales, Hanson Silo Company ventured to a robotic dairy farm and beef barn that had our Smart Slurry Aeration System installed. Incorporating our slurry aeration system onto these farms was the most cost effective solution to managing their slurry. On top of this, it created a much safer environment for the farmers and their livestock, due to the major reduction in harmful gases such as methane and hydrogen sulphide.
They continued with a visit to Bluestone Brewery in Pembrokeshire that evening to taste some of their sustainable craft beers.
The journey concluded with a visit to a pig farm in Northallerton. They had our Smart Slurry Aeration System installed back in 2021, keeping their slurry in a homogeneous, pumpable state!
